You're not doomed to fail a run that has too much curse in it, after all, but it DOES make it considerably harder. It's confirmed exactly nowhere, but I've seen it so many times that it just has to be, right?Ĭurse is one of the most important mechanics of Gungeon, slightly less important than Coolness and somewhat more important than theft.Ĭurse isn't quite as much 'curse' as it is 'challenge level' in my eyes.
